Cherry Butter (ICSC)

Prunus avium seed oil and Butyrospermum parkii nut extract. Acts as an emollient, as a conditioning agent and as a moisturizing agent. Cherry butter is obtained from the fruits of the tree, prunus avium. The oil is obtained by either pressing or expelling. The present butter is made of the refined oil and then mixed with a soft shea stearine. It has excellent occlusive properties that prevent excessive loss of moisture through the epidermis. Used in moisturizers and in a wide range of skin care products.
