Astrocaryum Tucuma Seed Butter. Biochemica® Tucuma Butter Refined by Hallstar is a biodegradable, bodying agent, emollient, moisturizing agent & lubricant. It offers dermal moisture content balancing and feel modification/enhancement. It is obtained from the fruit of the brazilian amazon tree, astrocaryum tucuma. This plant derived & natural grade brings a desirable shine to dry & damaged hair. Its emolliency and skin feel come from its high lauric, myristic, and oleic content. It prevents drying of the skin due to its moisture binding properties. Biochemica® Tucuma Butter Refined is used in creams, lotions, balms, make-up foundations and bar soaps. Also, used in after-sun skin care, facial color cosmetics, facial skin & foot care, hair conditioners and hand-, body- & lip care formulations. It is COSMOS approved grade.
