Sodium Stearate. SODIUM STEARATE OP-200V by Hallstar is a cleansing-, emulsifying- (O/W) & gelling agent (aqueous) and thickener (aqueous). It is a biodegradable & vegetable-based sodium stearate, consisting primarily of the sodium salts of saturated C16, C18 fatty acids, but also including a defined proportion of C20, C22 fatty acids to increase the melt point and decrease the payout of hydroglycolic sticks made with it. SODIUM STEARATE OP-200V is used in bar soaps, cleansing wipes, daily wear sun care, deodorants, eye area color cosmetics and facial cleansers. Also, used in facial color cosmetics, facial skin care, foot care, fragrances, hair colorants, hand & body care, lip care, liquid hand soaps, shaving products and shower gels/body washes.
