Stearic Acid. RTD STEARIC ACID V-1655 by Hallstar is a formulation aid, bodying-, cleansing-, co-emulsifying-, emulsifying (W/O) and emulsion stabilizing agent. This biodegradable, non-oily and plant derived/vegetal ingredient forms lamellar liquid crystals that enhance yield value and so increase emulsion stability. RTD STEARIC ACID V-1655 is used in after-sun skin care, bar soaps, beach wear sun care, daily wear sun care, eye area color cosmetics, facial cleansers, facial color cosmetics, facial skin care, foot care and hair conditioners. Also, used in hand-, lip- & body care, self-tanners, shampoos, shaving products, shower gels/body washes and styling aids.
