Ethylhexyl Olivate (and) Sodium Acrylates Copolymer (and) Polyglyceryl-4 Olivate. Olivem® 2020 by Hallstar acts as a cold-process emulsifier, sensorial modifier, thickener and stabilizer. It is based on olive oil chemistry and is a multifunctional biomimetic ingredient. It contains unique composition of fatty acids, similar to the lipidic composition of the hydrolipidic film of the skin. It preserves liquid crystal structure and creates oil-in-water emulsions. It combines excellent emulsification performance and natural dermollience. Compared to other cold process emulsifiers, Olivem® 2020 delivers superior sensoriality attributes but maintains skin hydration. It is environment friendly since it does not need heating or pressure to perform. It offers spreadability, non-greasiness, non-tackiness, cushioning, rich feeling, freshness and skin softness. It finds application in formulating men’s grooming formulas, color cosmetics and facial-, eye-, body-, sun- and hair care products. Meets ISO 16128 and China approval. It has a shelf-life of 18 months.
