Biochemica® Jojoba Butter

Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (and) Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. Biochemica® Jojoba Butter by Hallstar is an antioxidant, bodying agent, emollient, lubricant and moisturizing agent. It offers an exceptional smooth and elegant feel on the skin. It is derived from natural golden jojoba oil, a cold pressed non-triglyceride ester from the seeds of the desert shrub Simmondsia chinensis. Jojoba oil contains monosaturated long chain C20, C22 fatty acids with a relative high content of eicosenoic acid. This plant derived/vegetable-based & biodegradable ingredient is used in cosmetic preparations, the feel and behavior is somewhat similar to that of shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii), but with increased oxidative stability. It contains natural tocopherols to help minimize lipid peroxidation. It exhibits excellent spreadability on the skin, making it ideal as a massage butter or carrier for treatment products. Biochemica® Jojoba Butter is recommended for after-sun skin care, bar soaps, foot care, hair conditioners, hand & body care and massage oils & balms. It adds moisturizing attributes to creams, lotions and bar soaps.
