Isopropyl Palmitate. HALLSTAR® IPP-NF by Hallstar is a pigment binder, emollient, diluent and solubilizing agent. It is recommended for mineral oil, silicones, lanolin as well as for fragrances in many personal care product applications. It is a biodegradable, light non-occlusive emollient with a soft, dry, non-oily feel. It offers feel or modification enhancement. This plant-derived ingredient is made from the reaction of vegetal palmitic acid and petrochemical isopropyl alcohol. HALLSTAR® IPP-NF is used in after-sun skin care, bath additives, cleansing wipes, eye area & facial color cosmetics and facial cleansers. Also, used in facial skin care, hair conditioners, foot-, hand-, body-, lip- & nail care, self-tanners, shaving products and styling aids.
