Diethylhexyl Adipate. HALLSTAR® DOA by Hallstar is an emollient, pigment wetter & dispersant, resin plasticizer and sunscreen solvent. It is synthetically produced diester of petrochemically-derived 2 ethylhexanol and adipic acid. This non-occlusive ingredient has excellent spreading properties. It can be used as an hydro-alcoholic coupler for fragrances in colognes, toilet waters. It can also be used as a cosolvent, feel and flow modifier for lipophilic components in sunscreens, nail polishes and nail polish removers, as a pigment wetter/dispersant in make-up as well as in lipsticks. Also, used in hair care, bath and deodorant products. HALLSTAR® DOA is suitable for bath additives, beach wear sun- & daily wear sun care, depilatories, facial color cosmetics, facial skin care, fragrances, hand & body care, lip care, nail care and shaving products.
