Biochemica® Soy Butter by Hallstar is a bodying agent, emollient, film former, hair conditioning-, moisturizing-, skin hydration agent, skin protectant, substantivity aid and thickener (nonaqueous). This biodegradable, natural & plant-derived/vegetal based ingredient offers dermal barrier function restoration, dermal moisture content balancing and feel modification/enhancement. It is a soft, butter-like material which exhibits excellent spreadability on the skin, making it ideal as a massage butter or carrier for treatment products. It replenishes the lipid barrier to help hold in the skin's intrinsic moisture while softening dry, chaffed and damaged skin. This ingredient adds moisture to creams, lotions and bar soaps and can be used in cosmetics, toiletries, bar soaps, massage treatments and sun care applications. It is also useful in hair conditioning products to add shine and conditioning attributes without using petroleum-based additives. Biochemica® Soy Butter is used in after-sun skin-, beach wear sun- daily wear sun-, facial skin-, foot-, hand & body-, foot care products. Also, used in antiperspirants, bar soaps, deodorants, hair conditioners, shampoos, shower gels/body washes and massage & shaving products.
