Biochemica® Shea Butter Natural

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter. Biochemica® Shea Butter Natural is a biodegradable thickener, moisturizing-, superfatting- and anti-inflammatory agent. It also functions as a skin protectant (anti-radical properties), bodying-, skin hydrating and hair conditioning agent. It shows dermal moisture content balancing, non-occlusive, healing promotion, film former and feel modification/enhancement properties. It is a natural butter expeller pressed from the fruit seeds of the karite tree. It is used on the skin, creating a smooth, creamy texture which is suitable for cosmetics. It has an inherent SPF of 4 which helps in the protection of the skin against weather, sun and photo-aging and elimination of superficial irritations. It is well known to address cutaneous dryness, dermatitis, dermatoses, eczema, solar erythema and burns. It is applicable in creams, lotions, balms, bar soaps, bath additives, cleaning wipes, deodorants, hair conditioners, shampoos, shaving products and shower gels/body wash. Biochemica® Shea Butter Natural is also used in daily wear-, facial-, foot-, lip-, hand & body-,daily wear sun care- and after-sun skin-care products.
