UV Cut ZnO-65-AD

Zinc Oxide (and) Dimethicone (and) C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate (and) Polyhydroxystearic Acid. UV Cut ZnO-65-AD by Grant Industries is 65% dispersion of ultrafine zinc oxide in dimethicone, 2 cSt and ester oils. Offers both UVA (320-400nm) and UVB (280-320nm) protection. C12-15 alkyl benzoate is a commonly-used ester since it is a very efficient solvent for organic sun filters. Dimethicone, 2 cSt is ideal for products that require fast evaporation and high spreadability. It provide transparent look with water-resistant properties, improved photo-stability and lower irritation profile compared to chemical sunscreen agents. It is combined with UV Cut TiO2-55-AD for broad spectrum sun protection. It is formulated into oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions, and anhydrous systems. UV Cut ZnO-65-AD is used in sun care, skin care, color cosmetic and hair care formulations.
