Dimethicone (and) PEG/PPG-18/18 dimethicone. Gransurf 50C-HM by Grant Industries acts as water-in-Oil (W/O) emulsifier with HLB value of ~4.5. It is highly concentrated with 50% active solids. Designed be formulated for water-in-oil emulsions. Reduces possible irritation profile, can be combined with an additional emulsifier for enhanced stability, recommended for use in D5-replacement formulations. Gransurf 50C-HM is also used as carrier for emollients, moisturizing agents and organic sunscreens. Other applications include BB creams, liquid foundations, foundation primers and water resistant sunscreens.
