Stearoxymethicone/Dimethicone Copolymer. Gransil VX-401 by Grant Industries is a polydimethysiloxane (silicone) grafted with long hydrocarbon chain, which crystallize at room temperature and form micro domains in silicone phase. The domains function as physical crosslinking points that keep the silicone chains from "free-flowing". By varying the domain size and concentration.
