Dimethicone/Divinyldimethicone/Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer (and) Citric Acid. Gransil ECA by Grant Industries consists of two interlacing polymer networks of polydimethylsiloxane and polymethylsilsesquioxane. It provides enhanced aesthetics to formulations and also acts as a thickening agent for emulsions and anhydrous systems. It delivers excellent smooth characteristics; soft cushioning effect, its surface is treated with citric acid for ease of use, no high shear requirement, easy to disperse cost-effective alternative to obtaining elastomer gel fee, disperse in silicone or low viscosity hydrocarbon oils at suggested ratios. It gives transformation into matte appearance with powdery after feel. It is formulated into oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions and anhydrous systems. Gransil ECA is used in skin care, color cosmetic, sun care and hair care formulations.
