Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Unsaponifiables. Vitamolive by Givaudan Active Beauty acts as an anti-aging agent and emollient. It contains specific fraction of olive oil unsaponifiables rich in isoprenoids, mostly squalene, and natural tocopherols. It is the 1st line of defense against photodamages. It prevents free radical formation to protect cell from lipidic peroxidation. It has moisturizing properties due to its composition similar to the natural sebum secretion. It is non-greasy and provides quick skin penetration and soft after feel. It is preservative-free. Vitamolive is used in after-sun care and skin care products. It is Ecocert, Cosmos and China approved (CTFA List 2004).
