SiBrid® EDEB-211

Bis-(C24-30 Alkyl/Butyl) Dimethicone. SiBrid® EDEB-211 is a diblock copolymer of ethylene and polydimethylsiloxane. SiBrid® EDEB-211 is effective in compatibilizing hydrocarbon and silicone materials. It is a solid low melt-point material. SiBrid® EDEB-211 offers the smoothness of paraffins without the waxy feel. When added to many organic and hydrocarbon systems it reduces tack and increases slip. At higher levels it can form barriers to moisture transmission. Used in cosmetics and personal care products.
