Gelest Sericite TC

Mica (CI 77019) (and) Triethoxycaprylylsilane. Gelest Sericite TC by Gelest is a treated pigment. It is coated with an alkylsilane which provides a very hydrophobic coating that increases the ease of particle dispersion in natural and synthetic fluids. It helps to stabilize particles in emulsion systems. It improves wear on the skin and decreases oil absorption. It also improves pigment performance in oils and silicone. It is used in BB creams, foundations, pressed powders and hot pours products. Gelest Sericite TC has a shelf life of 5 years.
