Black Iron Oxides (CI 77499) (and) Polydiethylsiloxane. Gelest Black Iron Oxide DE by Gelest is a diethicone treated pigment. It offers improved spreadability, hegman readings and color development when compared to methicone treatments. It gives a rich and lubricious feel. It decreases oil absorption allowing for ease of dispersion. It is designed for lipsticks, BB cream, pressed powder, liquid foundation and cream to powder/hot pour applications. It has a shelf life of 5 years.
