Sage CO2-to extract 5% Oleanolic/Ursolic acid

Salvia Triloba Leaf Extract, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil. Acts as an anti-aging and anti-inflammatory active. It is derived from sage leaves and standardized with sunflower oil. It contains 4-6% of the triterpene acids oleanolic and ursolic acid and >20% antioxidative phenolic diterpenes with >15% of carnosic acid; essential oil <3%, water <2%, alcohol <3%, sunflower oil (organic) and cuticular waxes. It helps in stabilization of fatty oils, carotenoids, essential oils against oxidation. Ursolic acid inhibits indirectly metalloproteinases, which induces the decompositon of collagen in skin. Used in skin care formulations.
