Curcuma Xanthorrhiza Root Extract. Acts as an anti-microbial active. It is derived from the roots of curcuma xanthorrhiza. Contains mainly volatile components and no reproducible microorganisms. It has >85% essential oil containing mainly ar-curcumene, β-curcumene and xanthorrhizol. Very effective especially against staphylococcus mutans. Used in mouth care products.
