Ethylene Glycol Monostearate. Finester EG 1018 by Fine Organics acts as a pearlizing agent, opacifier and thickener. It is an esterification product manufactured from vegetable origin raw materials. Offers intense, controlled and stable sheen in shampoos and liquid soaps. It is also used as a emulsion stabilizer and bodying agent in these systems. When used in creams and lotions, it imparts a soft as well as smooth skin feel. Finester EG 1018 has a shelf life of one year.
