L-Ascorbic acid mono(dihydrogen phosphate) magnesium salt. Acts as an anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, anti-redness, anti-oxidant and healing active. It is non-irritating and more stable derivative of vitamin C. Improves skin elasticity, decreases wrinkles by stimulating collagen synthesis, reduces redness, promotes wound healing and suppresses cutaneous pigmentation. It is not physiologically active; various effects appear after it is converted to ascorbate via hydrolysis catalyzed by dermal phosphatase.
