VARISOFT® PATC MB

Palmitamidopropyltrimonium Chloride. VARISOFT® PATC MB by Evonik is a multifunctional hair conditioning additive and cationic emulsifier for O/W emulsions with excellent antistatic properties. It is compatible with anionic, amphoteric and nonionic surfactants. It is suitable for clear formulations. This vegetal-based ingredient possesses viscosity enhancing properties in surfactant formulations. It provides a dry and non-oily skin feel. It reduces the fading of hair dyes when used in a shampoo formulation. It exhibits good thickening in formulations. VARISOFT® PATC MB is used in clear conditioning shampoos, conditioning body washes & gels, clear liquid hand soaps and hair conditioners.
