Betaine. TEGO® Natural Betaine by Evonik is an active conditioning agent, moisturizing and protective agent. It is a vegetal derived amino acid (trimethylglycine), which increases skin's moisture retention.

Also, acts as cellular osmoprotectant and improves skin compatibility of surfactant mixtures and offers skin and hair conditioning properties.
This biodegradable grade is a pure, non-sensitizing, non-irritating raw material.
TEGO® Natural Betaine is used in rinse off applications like in hair shampoos, hair rinses, shower shampoos, baby shampoos, and facial cleansing lotions.
Also, used in skin care applications like in body and facial care creams and lotions, after shave lotions, sun care/after sun lotions, deodorants and cream gels.
