Cocamidopropyl Betaine (and) Glyceryl Laurate. TEGO® Betain HS KB 5 by Evonik is a mild, surfactant, foam booster and thickener. It is regarded as an amphoteric surfactant and is processible with anionic, cationic and non-ionic substances. It provides good re-fatting properties that makes it a good additive for skin caring liquid soaps, shower and bath preparations. A significant increase in viscosity is obtained, if it is combined with various anionic surfactants. TEGO® Betain HS KB 5 is applicable in hair, baby and skin cleansing products.
