ABIL® EM 180

Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone. ABIL® EM 180 by Evonik is a non-ionic, versatile, W/O emulsifier. It is based on silicone and exhibits high molecular weight and outstanding stabilization capabilities. It has polymeric and poly-functional structure. Offers silky feel, enhanced performance at high temperatures and great flexibility with electrolytes, UV filters and active ingredients. Suitable for hot and cold processing of creams, lotions and gels. It is an easy to handle grade and can create stable quick break systems. Used to emulsify all types of cosmetic oils such as esters, ethers, silicones and hydrocarbons and can form emulsions containing up to 20% alcohol. Recommended for color cosmetics, skin- and sun care products.
