Ricinus communis oil. Esperis-Castor Oil Pale Pressed acts as reconstructor and strengthener for hair. Its a triglyceride of ricinoleic acid, and contains numerous beneficial substances such as palmitic, stearic, linoleic, and ricinoleic acid. Recommended use is to compress on damp dry, fragile, weak hair which is defibrinated and with split ends. A topical use of the oil can be used to treat problems such as tinea (athlete's foot), keratosis, as well as cutaneous inflammations, abrasions, nail fungus infections, acne, and chronic itch. It is also useful for massages in the case of sprained ligaments, pulled muscles, and to prevent abdominal stretchmarks. Recommended dosage levels for Esperis-Castor Oil Pale Pressed is 5-20%.
