MIRASIL™ P-DPDM

Phenyl Trimethicone (and) Diphenyl Dimethicone. MIRASIL™ P-DPDM by Elkem Silicones is a conditioning agent. It is a solution of a Polydimethyldiphenylsiloxane gum at 15% in Phenyltrimeticone. Due to ultra-high molecular weight of silicone polymer, it imparts long-lasting properties to skin and hair with specific sensorial feel. Also, increases compatibility with cosmetic ingredients. It offers wet/dry combing, shine, heat protection, spreadability, water repellency and transfer resistance. MIRASIL™ P-DPDM is used in make-up, lipstick or mascaras. As additives in skin creams or body lotions, deodorants and antiperspirants, it leaves a soft feel on skin. The shelf life of this ingredient is 36 months from its date of manufacturing.
