MIRASIL™ DM 2

Dimethicone. MIRASIL™ DM 2 by Elkem Silicones offers a soft feel and protecting effect in skin care. In deodorants & antiperspirants, it provides detackification. This non-flammable ingredient shows waterproof effect in sun products. It is a linear & volatile polydimethylsiloxane fluid with a low viscosity and low molecular weight. Also, provides organic compatibility, enhances spreadability, imparts lubricity and facilitates wet & dry combing. MIRASIL™ DM 2 is used in creams & lotions, make-up removers and shaving lotions. The shelf life of this ingredient is 36 months from its date of manufacturing.
