Propoxytetramethylpiperidinyl Dimethicone. MIRASIL™ ADMH 403 by Elkem Silicones brings long-lasting conditioning without build-up. It is a medium viscosity hindered amine functionalized polydimethylsiloxane, specially developed, and patented, for formulation to non-yellowing emulsions and micro emulsions. This fluid stable provides smooth feel to dry hair and eases wet & dry combing. This ingredient improves color depth and longevity when used in semi-permanent color products. Also, protects hair from heat damage. It shows free radical scavenger performance and allows protection of hair and skin against thermo oxidative stress (UV light, hair dryer, aging). MIRASIL™ ADMH 403 enables clear shampoo formulations and cold process manufacturing. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months from its date of manufacturing.
