PEG-75 Lanolin. LAN-AQUA-SOL 75:50 by Elementis acts as a non-ionic surfactant, wetting- and dispersing agent. It is the polyethylene glycol derivative of lanolin. It provides O/W emulsification as well as solubilization of water-insoluble lanolin derivatives, perfume, vegetable oil & mineral oil to form clear aqueous and hydro-alcoholic systems. It provides foam detergency, boosts and stabilizes foam. It imparts emolliency, conditioning and super-fatting properties in aqueous and solid detergent systems without affecting flash foam. It modifies viscosity and consistency for anionic, non-ionic and cationic gel shampoos, lotions and creams. LAN-AQUA-SOL 75:50 is recommended for use in makeup, soaps, hydrogen peroxide creams & lotions, shaving cream, pre-electric and after-shave lotions. It is also used in antiperspirants, cologne, skin freshener and hair care (preparations, conditioners, shampoos and relaxers). The shelf life of this grade is 2 years.
