Coco-Caprylate/Caprate (and) Disteardimonium Hectorite (and) Propylene Carbonate. BENTONE GEL® CCC V by Elementis is a naturally derived, organically modified, rheology modifier of non-animal origin. It is an easy to use, easily spreadable, non-volatile, non-abrasive and non-oily emollient. It provides a soft, smooth, non-tacky and residual silky feel to skin along with a light sensory profile. It is suitable for cold process systems. It offers thixotropic flow, improved application as well as predictable, reproducible, stable, thermostable and shear thinning viscosity control of the emulsion's oil phase. It increases apparent melting point and ensures cost-efficient use of UV filters. It allows emulsion stabilization (w/o and o/w), provides a high degree of formulating flexibility and highly reproducible results for multi-site production requirements. It is a natural alternative to silicones and petrochemically derived solvents. It gives cushiony feel, coverage and improves pressability of powders. It allows even application for maximum protection. BENTONE GEL® CCC V is recommended for face & boy care, antiperspirants, skin care, sun care, masks, hair care, lip products, eye shadows, concealers and foundations. It gives stability, disperse & suspend pigments and also boosts SPF of organic and inorganic sunscreen actives. The shelf life of this grade is 2 years. It is vegan, China conforming as well as RSPO certified.
