PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone. PEL-SIL™ PEPG-1818 by Elé Corporation acts as a plasticizer, emollient, humectant and wetting agent. It is a high molecular weight polymer, exhibiting low usage levels and low order of toxicity. It is substantive, adds gloss, provides slip-aid and shows anionic surfactant compatibility. PEL-SIL™ PEPG-1818 finds application in formulating hair conditioners, ethnic hair care formulas, creams, lotions, color cosmetics and styling products. Meets TSCA, SARA 313, Canadian DSL, WHMIS, EINECS, AICS, KECI and IECSC. It has a shelf-life of 36 months.
