Castor Oil. Organic Castor Oil by Ekologie Forte acts as a thickener and conditioner. It is a vegetable oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the organically grown castor oil plant (Ricinus communis). It is a colorless to very pale yellow liquid with a distinct odor. It contains triglyceride in which approximately 90 percent of fatty acid chains are ricinoleate. It also contains oleate and linoleates. Organic Castor Oil is used in cosmetic care products. It is USDA-NOP certified.
