Methyl Acetate. Eastman™ Methyl Acetate, High Purity by Eastman acts as a solvent. It is a readily biodegradable, fast evaporating urethane grade with low alcohol and water content. Because of its fast evaporation rate, it is suitable for use in applications where fast solvent release and quick dry-to-touch time is needed. Eastman™ Methyl Acetate, High Purity is a non-HAP, non-ODS and non-SARA product. Offers excellent solvent activity, fast evaporation rate, high electrical resistance and low MIR value. Used in nail polishes/remover, fragrances, personal care and cosmetics.
