Soltex™ OPT

Acrylates/C12-22 Alkyl Methacrylate Copolymer. Soltex™ OPT by Dow acts as a waterproofing agent. It shows compatibility with inorganic and organic UVA and UVB actives. It is easy to use in a variety of sunscreen formulations such as oil-in-water, water-in-oil, and water-in-silicone systems, cold- and heat-processable systems, alcohol-based spray systems and nonionic-emulsified systems. Soltex™ OPT is used in skin and suncare like lotions and creams, low viscosity formulations and sprays (alcohol-containing sprays).
