DOWSIL™ ST-Elastomer 10

Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone crosspolymer. DOWSIL™ ST-Elastomer 10 by Dow is a non-occlusive, mixture of high molecular weight crosslinked silicone (12%) in decamethylcyclopentasiloxane. It acts as a film-forming and thickening agent for water-in-oil and water-in-silicone formulations and silicone fluid. It offers slight sebum absorption, dry, silky smoothness, non-greasy & non-tacky feel on the skin. It provides quick absorption and cold processing. DOWSIL™ ST-Elastomer 10 finds application in formulating skincare creams, gels, lipsticks and sprays.
