Dimethicone and Trimethylsiloxysilicate/Dimethiconol Crosspolymer. DOWSIL™ FC-5004 DM RESIN GUM by Dow is made of 40% of trimethylsiloxysilicate/dimethiconol crosspolymer dissolved in a low viscosity dimethicone fluid. It acts as a film former. After evaporation of dimethicone fluid, the silicone polymer forms a film on skin. It provides long-lasting, non-occlusive, comfortable, and flexible films. Its application includes formulation of color cosmetic and personal-care products. DOWSIL™ FC-5004 DM RESIN GUM complies with DSL, KECI, REACH, TSCA, ENCS/ISHL and IECSC.
