DOWSIL™ ES-5612 Formulation Aid

PEG-10 Dimethicone. DOWSIL™ ES-5612 Formulation Aid by Dow is a low odor, low molecular weight, non-diluted ethoxylated silicone surfactant and emulsifier. It produces water-in-silicone and water-in-oil emulsions with textures that range from lotion to cream. It offers wash-off resistance, formulation flexibility, low viscosity emulsions, ease of use and cold or hot processing. It also acts as a filler dispersing agent for micronized particles or pigments in silicone fluids and organic oils for UV protection or color cosmetics. It provides color intensity, light and non-greasy after feel on the skin. DOWSIL™ ES-5612 Formulation Aid finds application in formulating color cosmetics, skin-care and sun-care products. It shows broad compatibility with silicone- and organic oils. It is non-GMO and Vegan suitable. It has a shelf life of 18 months.
