DOWSIL™ SILMOGEN CARRIER

Dimethiconol (and) Hexamethyldisiloxane. DOWSIL™ SILMOGEN CARRIER by Dow is a carrier, anti-caking, film-forming and spreading agent. It is a non-occlusive blend of ultra-high viscosity hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (dimethiconol) in a volatile silicone fluid (hexamethyldisiloxane). It offers high volatility, long-lasting substantivity, lubrication, emolliency, soft smooth feel and wash-off resistance. DOWSIL™ SILMOGEN CARRIER finds application in formulating creams, lotions, sprays, gels and products for the delivery of active drugs.
