Dimethicone and PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone. DOWSIL™ ES-5226 DM Formulation Aid acts as an emulsifier and surfactant. It is 37.5% dispersion of silicone polyether in a low viscosity, volatile dimethicone fluid. Its primary function is to produce water-in-silicone emulsions with texture ranging from lotions to creams. It offers ease of use and cold or hot processing. DOWSIL™ ES-5226 DM Formulation Aid finds application in formulating color cosmetics, antiperspirants, deodorants, skin-care and sun-care products. Complies with DSL, KECI, REACH, TSCA, IECSC, ENCS/ISHL, PICCS, NZIoC and AICS.
