Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. DOWSIL™ EP-9215 Cosmetic Powder by Dow acts as a viscosity modifier, sensory-, texturing- and opacifying agent. It is a white cross-linked dimethyl polysiloxane elastomer powder. The high elastomer hardness allows different fluid/oil absorption capabilities together with a sebum absorption profile for medium to dry skin. Moreover, it provides sensory effect, coverage and silky powdery skin feel. It offers matte appearance, reduce greasiness and softness. DOWSIL™ EP-9215 Cosmetic Powder finds application in formulating facial and body creams, lotions & gels and color cosmetics like loose- & pressed powders, eye shadows, liquid & stick foundations, lipsticks, blush and eye concealer. Complies with DSL, KECI, REACH, TSCA, IECSC, ENCS/ISHL, PICCS, NZIoC and AICS. The shelf life of the product is 810 days.
