DOWSIL™ EL-8052 IH Silicone Organic Elastomer Blend by Dow acts as a rheology modifier in oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions and anhydrous gels. It is a delivery aid for lipophilic actives, including sunscreens. It provides thickening benefits in alcohol-based systems and sensory & texture enhancement. It is a clear to slightly translucent crosslinked silicone-organic elastomer gel delivered in a non-volatile organic carrier fluid to impart, dry smoothness, softness, light, silky, lubricious skin feel. DOWSIL™ EL-8052 IH Silicone Organic Elastomer Blend offers enhanced spreadability, matte appearance, color intensity & uniformity. It is cold-processable and compatible with a wide range of organic ingredients. It enables to create clear systems with organic components and enhances aesthetics of anhydrous formulations. Can be used in a wide range of personal care products such as skin care, color cosmetics and sun care. It has a usable life of 24 months from the date of production.
