Ucare™ Polymer JR-30M

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Dow
Polyquaternium-10. Ucare™ JR 30M by Dow Chemical acts as a conditioning, moisturizing, repairing, foam booster, sensory enhancer and film forming agent. It is a water-soluble, multifunctional, cationic polymer having a cellulosic backbone derived from natural, renewable resources, such as cotton or wood. Exhibits non-newtonian pseudoplastic properties and migrates directly to the point of damage to mend split ends. It can be used with or without silicones & compatible with a wide range of surfactants. Enables the clear formulations with no build-up on hair and avoids volume-down effects. It is essentially non-irritating to the eyes, hence can be included in shampoo and facial-cleanser formulations. Moreover, it improves deposition of beneficial agents and overall aesthetics. Ucare™ JR 30M is recommended for body washes, liquid-soap systems, bar soaps, sprayable products and mild surfactant systems. It is bio-renewable (partial) and offers enhanced wet combing, frizz control and volumizing.
