ACULYN™ 33 Rheology Modifier

Acrylates Copolymer. ACULYN™ 33 Rheology Modifier by Dow is a ASE-based, non-associative, anionic, rheology modifier, very efficient suspending agent for thin pouring systems and stabilizer for emulsifier-free emulsions. It is a liquid, cold-processable product that instantaneously thickens upon neutralization providing ease of handling and increased manufacturing efficiency. Offers characteristics such as texture enhancement, softness, non-greasy, non-sticky feel and easy to use. It offers shear thinning properties with a short flow, stability in highly alkaline systems and excellent viscosity stability. It is compatible with systems containing hydrogen peroxide. It allows wide breadth of possible formulation and product types including gels, emulsions and clear solutions. It is used in alcohol and glycol-containing formulations (astringents & cleansers), depilatories, lotions (body cleaning, hand, make-up) and solvent gels. ACULYN™ 33 Rheology Modifier is also recommended for opaque and pearlescent shampoos, peroxide-containing formulations (hair dyes, hand disinfectants, permanent wave neutralizers) and hand soaps.
