Jojoba Esters. Jojoba Esters-15 by Vantage is an emollient, smoothing, moisturizing, softening and conditioning agent. It is an oil-free wax ester derived from seeds of the jojoba plant through interesterification. It is natural, eco-friendly, earth-friendly, non-oily, non-tacky and multi-functional in nature. It delivers hydration, gloss, shine, high stability, superior oxidative stability, smooth elegant skin feel and non-greasy emolliency. Moreover, it is readily absorbed into the skin, offers improved structural integrity in stick formulations and can be used as a binder in pressed powders. In color cosmetics, it provides excellent pigment wetting and higher pigment loading, enhancing color intensity. It is suitable for oil-free formulations and does not have any effect on foaming in surfactant systems. Jojoba Esters-15 finds application in formulating emulsions, sticks, anhydrous formulas, mascaras, pressed powders and surfactant systems. It is used in color cosmetics, bath & shower, cleansers and skin-, baby-, lip-, hair- and sun care products. It is ECOCERT and COSMOS approved.
