Carbomer. It is a synthetic high molecular weight cross linked water soluble polymer of acrylic acid, which is known as "Carbomer". Has thickening, emulsifying and stabilizing properties. It produces wide range of viscosities and flow properties and stabilizes various emulsions. Its applications include shampoos and styling products, skin care, body care, foot care and sun care formulations.
