Methylpropanediol (MP Diol) by Connect Chemicals acts as a preservative booster, humectant and solvent. It is used as an alternative to other glycols such as butylene glycol or propylene glycol, as it imparts non-tacky touch to the skin. It allows other ingredients to be distributed evenly on the skin. It offers long lasting moisturizing effect and healthy skin. It acts as a solubilizer for preservatives & hydrosoluble actives, exhibiting antimicrobial benefits and boosting their action. Recommended for formulating fragrances, toiletries, make-up, antiperspirants & deodorants, skin-, hair and sun care products. It is ideal for rinse-off and leave-on products. The shelf life of Methylpropanediol (MP Diol) is 12 months. It is Ecocert, COSMOS and NATRUE allowed.
