Lauryl Methicone. SilCare® Silicone 41M20 by Clariant provides silicone sensory properties during product application. It is a non-volatile grade. It is compatible with silicones and organics. It is used as a replacement for D4 and D5 cyclomethicone. It offers improved moisturization, smoothness, detackification, emolliency and water repellency. It is applicable in color cosmetics, antiperspirants & deodorants, skin- and hair-care products.
