Clariant
DMDM Hydantoin (and) Aqua. Nipaguard® DMDMH by Clariant is a headspace preservative. It is a formaldehyde donor and combines the benefits of broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity with the ease of liquid handling.
  • It is inexpensive and is active at low concentrations.
  • It is non-irritating to eyes, skin and mucous membranes.
  • It is used in hair conditioners, color cosmetics, antiperspirants & deodorants, bar- and liquid soaps.
  • Also used for shampoos, showers, sun protection and hair styling products.
  • Nipaguard® DMDMH is recommended for wet wipes, syndets, creams and lotions.
